Rethinking Schools supports Change

Rethinking schools Vol. 1 is a revision of an older edition. I previewed the new volume and used it for my Foundations Course with an emphasis on social justice. The articles are short, provocative and compliment a more rigorous text and a collection of readings. As a supplemental text Rethinking Schools, Vol. 1 works very well to engage my Teacher Candidates in thoughtful discussion and critical analysis of more traditional texts. The articles are written from the practitioner point of view, ranging from early education to high school. I will use this text again.Resilience Education
