This book is a gift to my soul!!

What a lovely book!! The author has a very sweet and easy to digest writing style that I truly enjoyed. There are things in this book that I've never thought about before and were quite profound to me. I've always believed in the idea that we are all one, but more in a passive "oh that's nice" sort of way. The author really drives this point home and now I have a better understanding of just how significant this is. It has put me in a state of true genuine awe. This book is a gift to my soul!!
My only wish is that the author would publish a workbook that could be used as a daily exercises/reminders/inspirations to assist with putting some of the ideas from the book into practice.

Please read this book, because I love you

I don't know you. I don't need to. But I love you. You seek the truth? You want to know "why?" This book is what your soul is looking for when you feel lost. This book resonated with me and caused me to cry a few times. It is perfection of the heart. Please read it.

A no-nonsense book on spirituality that addresses the fundamental WHY

When I ask people questions about spiritual concepts, I often just receive more elusive concepts in return. For example, when I asked why? and how? about "What you desire is yours," I got answers such as, "Because that's the way the universe works," "Because of the Law of Attraction," and "Because you create your own reality." Aak!
Not Akemi.
In this book, she gets to the core of many concepts. She is almost like a spiritual mechanic or technician in that she'll get to the nuts and bolts of spirituality in plain language, using great analogies where appropriate. Her writing style is a wonderful blend of abstract and logic, soft and sharp.
I've known Akemi for several years as her client. She's clear, direct, fair, professional--and she's kinda funny too. More than anything, I appreciate her genuineness, honesty and integrity. I've never met her in person, but I imagine her in a crisp suit, carrying a PC connected to the Akashic Records! All of these qualities are reflected in this book.
I received a review copy of the book because Akemi asked for my opinion during the editing process--she wanted to hear honest feedback from the reader's point of view. I think this really shows that she trusts and respects her clients, and that she works with us in partnership, going both ways.
This book is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend it to anyone who's ever asked, "But WHY?"
